Lowering a e61 question

Default Lowering a e61 question

I lowered my E61 with the ICS coilovers and a light with a car on lifts showed up on my dash. anyone know how to remove it? is this common?

I'm guessing that's your rear air suspension telling you things are uneven in the rear. The system is designed to auto-level, if it doesn't there may be an issue with the ride height sensors.

Did you remove the rear air suspension? I think you need to do some coding if you did.

My suspension is stock. Had the same error message as TS and it turned out it was one of the ride height sensors on the rear that was bad.

As far as I know the removal of the rear bags can not be coded out. Meaning you'll always have an error message if you choose to remove them.

The air suspension can be coded out and was done successfully during an ISC suspension conversion that we did in my shop a few weeks ago. That car is now going back to air ride and KW coilovers.
I strongly suggest staying away from the ISC suspension for a bunch of reasons that I am not going in to detail about in this thread.

RCB. I have the ICS suspension myself and im not happy. makes alot of "Noise"

do you know how the airbags was coded? my independent shop was clueless
