How to eject a stuck navigation DVD

If your navigation DVD gets stuck in the nav slot, just wait for the car to go into sleep mode, then push the eject button. The DVD will come out.
Yesterday I backed up the original BMW navigation DVD to a DVD-R. And I was badly scared this morning, when the backup refused to leave the drive. I checked this forum's archives, and found three tips:
? Push the CD and DVD eject buttons simultaneously for ten seconds;
? Reboot the iDrive;
? Eject in sleep mode.
It's the third one that worked for me.
