Both my front struts are leaking and in bad shape, looking to get some coilovers or new struts to replace and lower the car at the same time. 2010 e61 wagon with n54, but I can’t find many options online and was wondering if anyone had some good suggestions or what they used? I’m doing all new control arms, tie rod ends, etc so I wanted to do this at the same time. Picture for attention, 150k miles now so looking for maintenance suggestions if you have them. Just did new turbos, rod bearings, coolant flange on front of block, spark plugs, ignition packs, but feel my injectors are incredibly loud

 

I just replaced the fronts on mine (134k), went with new OEM struts, upper strut mounts, and bump stops. I searched the interwebs for anything aftermarket but did not like the very few options that we have available.

 

I did all 4 struts during Covid and did OEM Sachs. I wish Koni made Special Actives for these but they do not. I didn’t really notice any performance difference at 160,000 kms.
