Hey guys,

I have began searching around for strut replacements (2 front.) I am leaning towards Sachs but am also looking for affordable alternatives. I saw Bilstein Touring struts for around $170 for the set not including the mounts which I am also going to purchase (OEM brand)

Here are the Bilsteins:

Anyone have any experience or reviews on these, I was unable to find a lot of information on them for the E60. I am looking for struts that would last me 2-3 years as I am most likely going to sell and upgrade to an F10.

Car is an 05' 525i at stock height, control arms were replaced as well.

Reason I am searching around is that my pass side strut has a leak and the thumps are more loud & pronounced.
