Default Front springs

Will any lowering springs fit the front of our cars from a 535,550 or M5? I k know the rear isn't compatible but how about the front.

Based on comparing part numbers of the upper and lower spring pad I lean towards nope (especially M5 springs). If the lower spring pad on an E61 AWD front strut was swapped with the corresponding E60 part, and the length of the spring was compatible, maybe:

yes, they will fit. no, they will not work well. buy springs that are designed for use in whatever car you have. if youre just looking for something that will fit in that space, logs apparently work well too:
