Guys I feel like my E61 2004 handles badly on London's speed bumps. Found this set of shock absorbers

I am not looking to lower the suspension or anything of the kind just a family car, would the above set suit? or is it "too sport style"
Also any BMW independent garage around Hackney someone could recommend?

1. What do you mean by "handles badly"? In what way do you want it to change the handling?
2. What suspension does your car have from factory?
3. The shocks on this link look like a weird no-name product. I would never put those on my car, no matter what.
4. Shocks (only) will not lower your car, so no need to be worried about that.
5. Almost any aftermarket shock will make suspension harder, so pls answer question 1 before any meaningful advice can be given.

It turned out that I had a leak in the front shock absorber (was hard to notice)
changed it and now drives terrific!

 

I had read elsewhere on this forum that unless you're doing aggressive driving, you don't need to change shocks or add coilovers. I was interested in lowering the front of my car just a little bit (usa version 2008 535xi rides REALLY high) just to make it look more normal... nothing slammed. I was hoping to do this with a set of springs for $300. Are you guys saying that within a short period even with a small lowering springs that I'll have to put coilovers or change shocks anyway?
