Fitted New Sat Nav DVD drive still not working

Engine: 20D
Fitted New Sat Nav DVD drive still not working
I got a refurbed dvd drive from a guy on ebay who fits new laser to them.
I fitted it this afternoon and still getting insert navigation disc message and it wont eject the disc. At least my old unit would eject the nav disc you could say im very displeased any got any ideas what the problem is.

So after all looks like i did not connect it properly when i first changed the drive DOH !
When i fitted it back in the unit worked perfectly i feel a right idiot.
