IT'S HERE!!!!
first impressions:
very smooth, the 525d engine feels like an gasoline one. Despite max. 3500 rpm during first 2000 km its hits easily 5000 with no
vibrations.
It sound is a little rumbling like a V8.(far away), and it's in no mean a diesel clatter.
Beautiful craftmanship on the leather upholstery.
I drive, what's the hassle people are talking about? I Invested an hour time standing on the driveway and it has no more secrets at all to me.
Navi works fast. bootup of I drive from moment inserting the key fob is 7 sec.
Even discovered a short wave radiotuner.
Sport seats are great and it feels like this is the best option of the whole car for ? 700,-
To everyone on the other side of the big pond (US): when BMW will introduce the 535d and eventually the 530d in the USA, try it. It will certainly not
disappoint you.
The hard part: waiting till 2000km to hit more than 160 kh/100ph.
Pics are coming up tomorrow.

BTW the new standard grey interior trim is a high gloss metallic gray and close to the ext. space grey.
Not bad for a standard trim.
