This Alpina B5 with M5 Mirrors always makes me laugh because its effectively taking something from its closest rival, but even though they seem a little out of place, IMHO it does look better

Attachment 91007
If I would go ALPINA, I would remove the M5 mirrors. I am not sure why, but they do NOT match IMHO.

id love to have a mod that lets the player chose the colour of the car in the paynspray. i often spend a lot of time driving in and out the paynspray if i want to have a specific colour, cause the game just cycles through all the colours.

I can't remember how many times I've looked at that official ACS rear diffuser picture and thought I WANT ONE!! So, yes, I agree, the ACS rear diffuser is a very nice touch, especialy on the E61.

Yep, it is. It is also really expensive for a diffuser! About 1200 Euros, unpainted if I recall correctly.

I think that it also requires a larger exhaust outlet to complete the look.

Am I the only one who thinks that the Alpina front will actually look nicer with the standard (non-sport) side skirts? The M-skirts seem to have this "flowing" or "flame" design, which is the style of the M-sport bumper as well. While the Alpina front bumper has a much more straight and "geometric" design, which should fit the standart flat skirts better.

If I am not mistaken the actual height of the standard and M-sport skirts is identical? Does anyone know this for sure?

(I have seen vehicles with M-sport front and standad skirts and there does not seem to be a difference in the distance to the road surface)

Well, here we go - Alpina pre-LCI front bumper with standard side skirts.. funny, my logic seems to be falling apart - the bumper design corresponds to the skirts now, but I dont like the look of the bumper anymore! I think the standard pre-LCI bumper fits the front of the car better.. Its probably some sort of a Bangle thing..

I think in the third picture (rear 3/4) it looks gorgeus though - because its standard, as mother nature meant it to be!

And something really beautiful now - its funny how all these M-sport / non-sport / Alpina components work together.. sometimes its great, and sometimes..

...finally I caught the feeling, when comparing both designs... M-tech looks more live, ALPINA - more calm and solid... a little bit dull ..IMHO. RIms are really good , but, it seems to me, that price of ALPINA doesn't correspond to its' "shy" look of not-shy-car... to pay so much for non-obious good-looking front diffuser and side-vynils? I may say same for genuine B5 and M5 too..
