Does anyone of you have "exclusive leather"? I wonder what the differrence in both feel and actual quality is to the "standard" Dakota leather. It's after all not a big upgrade moneywise but I like to know I'm going for something that's worthwhile.

There may be a subtle difference in the leather, but IMHO that's basically like asking is the Individual paint worth the extra cost over Metalic paint - if you like it, you want it and can afford it... go for it! I think the Exclusive leather is only really important if you are going to opt for active (cooling) seats etc.

It's important to know that Exlusive Leather is software, thus being not so resistant as Dakota (much more delicate).

I think (just guessing) that they offer standard more resistant quality for overall quality and satisfaction.

I think you can only have the nasca leather with the vantilated seats option. Thus the exclusive Nappa leather is not perforated in any case.
When it comes to if it is worth the money its all about taste afterall. In my opinion its very soft and the ''crocodile'' part...what is that?
And dont forget that it only comes in black and amethyst so your choises are more limited than dakota

ive got nappa in my x5 and it really doesnt wear well at all. Had it a year and done 7k miles in it and you can see the creeces on the leather. If you leave something like a cardboard box on the back seat for any length of time you can see the imprint of the box.

If you actually use your car like a car then dakota. If its a showcar you want to spend every waking min over then nappa.

However , nappa is much softer i don't regret the extra ?800 for it.

It's a pity you can't split it into two; Nappa for us adults in the front and Dakota for the children in the back...
