Im 33 years old by the way.
E500 seems like a nice car and yes...navigation IS important to me.
BMW is the better handling car though and yes....MB is kinda geriatric.
I want to buy the E60, Im just frustrated with the NAVI for which Im extremely sory (duh)

No hard feelings, I tend to write in this style so seriously...Im sory if I offended You.
Hey, I will be 33 as well !! (on April 29th)
Despite the age though I can say I felt somehow similar while buying my E60.
I was not happy with certain things, and yet the performance / handling / finish quality / emotions for its design prevailed, despite of certain obvious downsides.
Although never seriously considered MB, my small secret is that if only could afford, I would probably swap my E60 for CLS AMG any minute One is always parked next to me in the Cleastream Building here in Luxembourg, and boy... I gotta admit, I love and admire design of CLS ever since I first saw this car... So, it depends... Of course, not ALL MBs seem so geriatic

Oh, and I think I can well understand your frustration about the BMW navi system (in general). I was seriously and endlessly choosing certain options while ordering my E60, and after driving few test-cars with business and prof navi I finally decided that it was probably the worst navi system on the market...
I find my way around with the PDA+GPS which is not very convenient, but I use it so rarely, that I simply assume that I am a bit less frustrated with a PDA programming that E60s navi so slow to operate, so hard to program and so easily getting lost in the big cities...

C'mon - none taken! that's exactly what such forums are there for, to allow people discuss things, get info and exchange opinions. Not always everyone has to agree with everyone else, co nie?
Anyways, if you love E60 (and I bet you do! otherwise you wouldn't be here in the first place... right? ) I would stand still behind this choice, perhaps give it a thought on quitting on factory NAVI...?
Anyway, goood luck on your choice, and please do keep us posted!

Ah, one more thing: how about joining us for the EUROPEAN E60 MEET? (see link below for details)

Luxemburg...sory again for being sarcastic. Its realy weird...You are the second person on this forum who speaks polish to me...seems that we are freekin everywhere.
Thanks for the meet invite, I will surely consider it as soon as I will be driving an E60 myself.
After all I will have to take it for a spin
Screw the Navi...been reading some reviews, compares and other data on the E60 & E500 and Im prepared to sacrifice the Navi..Im all for the 545i or 535d, havent decided that yey.
Oh, and one more thing...I will be buying the E60 used -2005. BTW I guess this is the reason why BMW supports us so "well" here in Poland - we buy from Germany , not from BMW.
serdecznie pozdrawiam.

"Good news" everyone!

2008-2 update does not contain even a little part of Poland.

52% coverage for Poland is less than satisfactory but an upgrade should offer 99% coverage I hear

People on the Polish BMW club are already using the Professional 08-02 Navi and apparently the coverage in Poland is actually quite good. Us Business Navi onwers have to wait until the autumn (presumably for 2009-01). At least thta's what they told me at Bawaria Motors in Warsaw today.

Haven't been on here for ages, coraz więcej Polak?w widzę
