Sweet! Can't wait to do it. Thought of doing it over this weekend but then got a suggestion to replace the stock charge pipe with something more solid to prevent the boost leak. Did you have to do any of that?
Also been using the MHD flash app and saw a bunch of different versions for stage 1 - Ver 7, Ver 8, Ver 9 and Ver.10. Research says that it depends on the driving style and the current car setup, mileage and the turbos type and their condition.

 

I always use the latest version of the MHD tune.
I tried installing an aftermarket charge pipe but the one I ordered (ER) did not fit the E61, the BOV bungs were not in the correct location. Still running the OEM one with zero problems.

 

Interesting to hear you had problems fitting the ER charge pipe. I've had one sitting in a box for a year and a half while I wait to get around to it. I hope it fits! I wonder if you got the 3 series version? I think those have the BOV bungs in a different location.
