My Ride: E61 - 525Da with sports pack & some more stuff (color = carbon black with kastanjebraun leather)
Default

It's time for me to decide on what kind of rimms to order for my new carbon black E61,
still doubting between M5 or M6 rimms (18") .
Does anyone have pics of these ?
Other (better) suggestions ?

Are u buying replica's? Cause M5 and M6 rims only come in replica if i am not mistaken.

Car is ordered, due mid june... and indeed will have the 135M rimms.
I agreed I can leave them at my dealer for a fair price.

So why are u changing original BMW 18" 135M-style rims for 18" replica's!?!?!?!?
I would definitely reconsider and keep the 135M, they are the best looking 18" rims for a touring.

Yep your right, for a non touring aswell. But on a non touring its easier to put 19's or even 20's without having your balls busted by the homologation problem. But indeed, for 18's, the 135 is the best choice.

M6 wheels, even original 19", do not look right on a touring IMO, not enough substance to the wheel to balance the large amount of bodywork. 172s or M5 are much better (even though the wheel detail itself is not as nice)

If you're staying with 18s then the 135s are as good as you will get.

We don't have homologation problems here so I'm no expert, but I don't understand how OE wheels are not homologated but replicas are OK.

It has nothing to do with OEM or replica but with 18 or 19 inch.
19inch under a touring is not homologated and 18 inch is.
