There is really no "logic" for an M5 type vehicle at all - can't seriously justify the power, as can use only rarely. It is for Fun !

An E61 M5 makes at least as much sense as an E60. If you want Fun but also need space / practicality, the E61 M5 would fit the bill perfectly.
If you don't need the space, why bother with an E60 - go for a Porsche, Aston or Ferarri.

Hmmmm. Didn't notice the M5 mirrors on those photo's of the M5 touring.... Perhaps they won't appear until the production version?

It is the fact it is stealth, and the fact it doesn't look like a salesmans car.
I agree and maybe one fine day I will be able to have one (dream dream dream)

i dont see the logic behind a super dupper wagon. I thought people want a wagan to cruise with the family and also..good for the winter.

Oh well..maybe my taste need to get a BIOS upgrade
Well, you're getting very similar performance but a lot more cargo room. Its a matter of balance and preference. I think it would be just as fun to drive AND you can put stuff in the back. win-win. And I couldn't care less about the "image" of wagons.
