Good for you, but seriously? You see no practical reason for having a power tailgate? You realize you can push the button to also close it? Not counting the obvious reason which is it's already open as you walk up to it.
Might as well pass that on to all the car manufacturers so they can stop putting in the option, since it's clearly a waste of time. LOL.

And "you... can push the button to close it". Really? *Really???* I guess I could see it if you are elderly, disabled, etc. I can close it much faster.

Convenience is the key word.
Since you're at it, might as well convert your garage at home to a manual one too. I'm sure you can flip up your door a lot quicker than a motorized garage door opener could.

Convenience - you're exactly right!
What can I say. I have had them both, so I know pretty well which one is more convenient. I do like the auto-retracting cargo cover, though.

Guys
A few questions that you may hopefully know answers to:
1. Is it possible to buy this angle/tilt sensor separately? I cannot find part number for this so I guess not, but please confirm
2. Where does this small connector go to (the one from the 1st picture of the 2nd post of this thread, top right corner of the pic)?
3. What would be the best source of getting the pins for e-connectors?
Thank you in advance

Anyone knows how to connect the power trunk lock drive? I got the WDS diagram and did what it says. Add a relay, connect the power trunk lock drive's wire to the "basic body module" pin 13 and 45(relay). But the motor failed to work when I close the door.
