E61 520d 2008 (N47D20) cooling hose leak
Hi all!
I have a problem on my E61 with cooling hoses. I have discovered a leak in a hose, that goes from engine block on the driver side (LHD) - (under ac compressor) and through the firewall and then somewhere (I don't know where) - i think it's for cabin heater.
The thing that bothers me is, how can I replace the hose? I can disconnect it from the engine block, but there is no clamp or some other connection at the spot where the hose leaves engine bay, and goes through firewall. Is there any way to get the hose out (and new one in of course) from engine bay? Or is there no other way, then to remove the dashboard? If yes, then how hard it is to remove the dash, and what should I be cafeful at?
I think (not 100% sure) that it's the hose nr 7 on this link: http://ills.bmwfans.info/37tu.png
Pictures of actual hose:
Thanks!
