Does CPO cover diversity antenna?

Have you replaced the battery in the fob? It's easy and helps with reception range. That's what they will do first anyway.

I havent called the dealer, my CPO has expired since. The reception is about the same for the past 2years of my ownership. Roughly 5ft to 10ft from car to unlock it with fob. My fob's don't have 'user replaceable' batteries (no comfort access). But I would be willing to try replace whatever battery is in there as I'm fairly good with electronics, soldering, etc. I also heard cleaning out the diversity antenna may help (cleaning contacts, etc.). Will try that also when I get a chance.

oh, silly me, I assumed the fobs are all the same. sorry about that. I do know my old land rover fob does have a battery inside. the fact that there IS a battery though inherently makes it "user replaceable". you just have to pop it apart.
