Damn it, why do the sedan owners get burned so bad with the aftermarket sector. If i realized sooner that I didnt need AWD that much I would have looked for a RWD E60, probably a 535i.

The struggle continues, 3,000 dollar coilovers or 270 dollar springs.

I have the springs now, and I wish i could go a tad lower.

Why aren't any of you guys looking at Fortune Auto as a less expensive alternative to KWs or even KWv2 for sedan owners? They offer an E61 option.

I am very happy with the ISC coilovers after finally getting the right parts. I am only using the front coilovers. Stock rear shocks and lowered with INPA. I will more than likely switch the rear shocks to ISC shocks soon. I will do a full write up soon.

I spoke with Fortune Auto. They do NOT offer an E61 option. They will custom build anything you need for a price, to the tune of $500-600 per corner.

I am also very happy with my ISC, front and half of the rear. After messing with the rear and lowering it with ISC, I actually decided to put my airbags back on and remove ISC springs...just because I decided not to lower it because of how I use my wagon. I do like the option of changing my dampening settings, I even cut a quick access so I don't have to remove but only the center floor cover

Having said that, if you want to purchase my rear ISC springs send me a PM.

I couldn't live without the SLS rear suspension. I use my wagon as a pick up truck too often!!

Picking up a 5.3L Chevy engine and a 4L80e tranny for my next "toy car" build......

Let's see what the wagon can hold!

Im kinda out of place here, altho i here to maybe get some more information or ideas.

I have a E60, not a E61. I thought ISC made a sedan version of coilovers for the E60 Xi models, but people here told me that they did not. I also tried coming in contact with them, and no response. I reached out to a few air ride vendors out there, and accu air sent me to air dynamiks. Air dynamiks told me they do not have a kit. I just cannot find any air ride either.

I was planning on making my 525xi just all show no go. But it looks like my only option is the V3s at this point. Iv heard abotu CKS or something like that but people said their are crap (the rust pretty quickly etc). Iv heard that Godspeed made a set as well for the AWD versions, but people who ordered them wont be getting them till like mid may. So thats my other option, not sure if those would fit E61s. Altho that kit is supposed to run around 800-900 bucks.

The KV3s, are they easy to handle. I know barely anything about suspension really, id just like nice ride quality back, and go a little lower. Might have to sell my wheels tho, decided to get 35 offset in front and 30 in the rear... the wheel is flush with the fender. If i were to lower it id have to roll the inner lip and maybe even pull those fenders.

New here: On ISC E61xi front coilovers with street/track setting, which I believe is 12kg/mm. The rear bag sensor arm is dislocated for even drop.

Rides like a dream, and fronts will adjust to slam city, if I decided to.

Adjustable end links and bottom strut body housings are well made.

Sweet ride. What are your spec on your wheel/tire setup?

Are those genuine m5 fenders/bumper?

Been wanting to do the rep m5 fenders but not totally clear if they are as wide or just have the grills for looks only.
