may be a dumb question but i'm trying to get as much parts reuse as i can. anyone know if this is possible?

I doubt you can easily do that. Bolt pattern is different, plus the brake fluid pressures will also be different.

thx for the info.

while i'd like to upgrade to m5 oem i dont want to have to upgrade my stock sport wheels.

what other alternatives are there for that dinky rear oem caliper?

in this case i'm more interested in making the car look good than actually increasing the performance.
