I have a pre LCI e61 and when you put the DRL on its dip beam. Is it possible to alter it to just the angel eyes?

if your car was made after Sep 2006 then yes it can be done with coding.

Your choice is only on and off. Not choosing which light is powered though.

If you an LCi light swap can it be done or is it a new ECU?

Funny how I was browsing about the exact same question, depsite it bugging me for nearly a year, and it had just been asked.

Can you clarify?

If you have LCI headlights, it most likely mean that it can be just coded, yes.

If i turn it to off it uses only the AE:s.
If i turn it to on its AE:s + dip beams. (i wish it was AE:s+Fogs)

I read somewhere on here that bulb warning can be programmed out,is that right?
I have asked the usual diagnostics people but they can't do it. Has anyone any idea who to ask next? I'm in the uk

I'm not sure about yours, but mine is LCI and has got the LMA2 which I have coded to switch on AE's + fogs when unlocking. As DRL is not possible, probably as it's only permitted to have the fogs switched on when there's fog.

@Mikethepanel: coding warnings is easy, even I can do it. You only need a cable and laptop, the rest is well described on many sites.
