Looking at this it is only happening after shutdown for some reason. It states it's not existing so when it shuts down there's an error on the LIN bus but is working as it should after startup. You never posted a pic of the issue currently being active.

I'm wondering could it actually be the 30g itself or the ibs since you've check all the wiring and grounds. The IBS communicates on the LIN

I think i never saw it active. My logic is that RLSS gets 12v and that info goes to LM via LIN bus. I will try to find same car without fault and swap LM's. Or maybe change IBS.

Morning,...i've got a 2006 550 E61. Replaced the RLSS inside the winbdshield 8 months ago as well as the aux sensor on the right air intake box under the hood. I haven't ran a test since. My problem was the airblower randomly increased and decreased its speed in matter of seconds. That behaviour was all gone after the replacement of the sensors but as said. I never looked back and never ran a test again....Will seen what I can do today....

Got another e61 LCI today, its 2007/04 530xd, LM same part number, but it has quad RLS, because it have HUD option, no fault 9cc5 code in LM.

So i decided to solve this fault code retrofiting HUD and change RLSS to RLS. Already installed HUD , still waiting my brand new RLS sensor , Solar sensor with wirings, couple pins, connectors. When all wirings will be finished i will change my winshield to HUD winshield.
