Here are some pictures from behind my transfer case, like just towards the rear of the car from the back of the transfer case. What are these things, and why might they be covered in oil?

this is a better photo of some damage right next to the brown metal piece, and the candy cane-shaped tube that's not attached to anything, and is covered in oil

 

Shifter bushings. Most likely the selector rod seal at the trans or the transfer case rear output seal. But its hard to see without lowering and getting a better look at where all the oil is
