We have previousy owned 3 of the last model Tourings: 150.000 miles.

We have a new 1500 mile 530i: immediately noted hard ride on RF tyres.
Worse still is the front seat design, the seats have been made larger with the result that lumbar support is less. The seat height adjusment differs from before also, as does the tilt of the front of the seat. My wife, a busy GP and the main user, (160cms tall and 120ilbs) gets low backache after only a few miles. The dealer is anxious to help talking about retrofitting comfort seats etc (we pay!!)

She wants rid of the car.

Will comfort seats solve the problem, or will lumbar supports be enough.

Help

Comfort seats will solve your problem! They are perfect and have a lot of options to get the perfect seating position.

I wouldn't retrofit them to you car.. it's a hughe amount of money for something that will do nearly nothing when reselling your car.

I would look into getting a new car with the comfortseats and take the fall financially. I think pricewise it will be close to eachother..

I test drove a 530d......those sports seats did my back no favours....comfort seats are necessary for this body! <_<
