I am just about to order a 530d Touring. I have decided on the following spec.

Automatic
Silver Grey
Dakota Black Leather
Maple Wood
Comfort Seats
Media Package + TV
Logic 7 Sound
Visibility Package
Rear Side Airbags
Fronted Heat Seats
Sun Protection Glazing + Graduated Tinted Windscreen
Extended Lights Package
Folding Mirrors

My question is about Automatic Air Conditioning-Advanced: I should be grateful for opinions on whether this is a worthwhile extra.

Also any other "must-have" extras I may have missed?

Thanks for any feedback!

In the UK the Media Package has NavPro and the Visbility Package has Xenons.

Extended Voice is a must in my eyes, saves you messing with the idrive all the time as most things can be controlled by voice. Advanced air con is much better than the basic, better looking control knobs as well.

Personally - xenon, navigation pro, bluetooth phone are all really worthwhile (part of the other packages?) - the i-drive is pointless without the last two
Sunroof is also great for airy interior - but rattles like mad on mine
Not sure I would bother with advance air - can't compare with std BMW, but would say it is no better than base climate on my previous car

But these extras must be pricey - how about a more base 535d?

Great choice, I am also waiting my new touring as you can see from my signature. Surely you must put advanced air con and blue tooth. What about M sport kit. The car looks so better and sporty. However do not forget about sport stearing wheel and roof rails. Also tinted glasses are cool.
