HAHA...yeah, well they don't sell it any other way here in the US and this is the kid/dogs carrier anyway, Luckily I have something else in the garage to take care of any hooliganistic tendencies that might come up!

Your Audi will only be a bad dream Axis,

A 535xiAT it is. A auto gear it is?

Congrats! About the ultimate E60/61 there is.

Send in some pics when you get your LCI '09 car.

Yeah, I chose the auto because it's the family car and traffic is pretty heavy here around NY. That said I thought the autobox shifted quite well for a "tiptronic" so it will do fine.

Got a 2008 E61 in October and love it.
Your E61 will ride much better than the old ride and have much more power.
Good Luck with the new car!

thank you.... don't know about more power though. the S6 is rated at 340HP/310Ft-lb and the two cars weigh the same more or less. Of course more power is only a chip away on the 535.

very true about the ride quality though.

On HP I did not know it was a S6, probably still have more low end torque, what chip are you getting?

Won't the chip show-up on the cars computer and void the warranty?

I'm not planning on getting one, but there are quite a few available out there for the BMW 3l turbo since it's in the 1 and 3 series, Vishnu makes a good stuff.

I had the S4 Avant which was 344bhp and lighter and then went to the 335i, the S4 was a snail in comparison.
My 535d mapped was quicker than the S4.
