Anybody has fitted it aftermarket. I completely forgot about this option when ordered the car so I would love to have it now.
With two months experince I'm ready ask if someone has removed automatic tailgate opener.
Not planning seriously yet, but:
- Already broked once - luckily I have still warranty
- It's slow
- You cannot open manually at all (in new Honda Accord Touring you can use it both manually and automatically)
I have found out that usually I open only back window.

I have the automatic opener and I like it. I only miss that the curtain on mine is manual, it's automatic on the new ones.

ok .. what is a Automatic tailgate opener ?
Well, it's not the most useful option you can get on a E61. But I like it, even it's a little slow and can kill you christmas trees. When used on the supermarket parking, it really makes the Volvo and Saab owners to pop out their eyes in envy and that's worth every cent.

I did not put it on the roof, it was actually in the car... Don't know if that makes you happier though...
