Hi All,

I ordered a new E61 530D M Sport Touring back in September 07 for delivery 1st week in Jan. Spec is Platinum grey, Black Dakota, Media Pack, USB Audio, Heated Seats, Sun BLinds etc....

It's a Company order through Arval, who confirmed delivery for 1st week Jan. Then, in December last year, the dealer came back to say that BMW had serious delays on the Tourings and especially Diesels due to the Efficient Dynamics implementation.

Anyway - bottom line is they pushed the delivery date out to Feb 22nd - basically pushed back by 8 weeks, which is about the lead time to build a brand new car to order anyway....

So, does anyone know if there have been delays with the diesel Tourings or if the dealer is bullshitting Arval and just forgot to place the order!

(Today's the 22nd of Jan, so I now only have one month left to wait even though I should have had my new toy for almost a month. Still - at least I have the consolation of my current E60 530d SE.....)
