Ok, got a horrible "bling" and the idrive said right park lamp failure.
Bought a new bulb from a BMW dealer, installed it, doesent work.
I figured that the new bulb must be broken, turns out it is not,.
Checked and no elictrical power in the wire going to the bulb...
Any tips on what to check next?

It is a 2004 525I, E61. From what I have been told, there are no fuses
Only a LCM, light control unit?

My car also comes up with this message, the first time i took it to the dealer who just pushed the wiring firmly back on to the rear of the light and then did something really technical, He Hit The Light, and lo and behold it worked he then said that this wasnt the first time he had come across this and said if the message comes up again on the idrive just turn the side lights on and then off.
It has happened four or five times since and i use his advice and it always works.
Good Luck
