520d chip-tuning?

How is it to upgrade the engine with a chip on these models? Read something about getting 205 hp/410nm instead of 163hp/340nm. Is this realism or?
Will there be any problems with the clutch/transmission (manual) if I install something like that?
Anyone tried this?

As long as you go to someone reputable there shouldn't be any problems. The figures you quote are easily achievable and then some...

Ok, thanks. My former car was a VW Golf 150 hp/320nm TDI, with chip 185/400nm. Had some problems with a slippy clutch when going for full throttle on high gears (4-5-6) with low rpm (1500-2500). If someone understand what I'm trying to explain...

I would recommend a remap instead of a chip. That way you know that all parameters are being adjusted to gain the extra power.
