I’m looking forward to replacing my oil pump, sarcasm implied. Im not able to find any good videos on You Tube. Has anyone know where to get some info and or videos?

I haven't done it myself, but I did the oil pan gasket and I suggest, if you don't have one, get an engine support bar. It is actually quite easy to drop the subframe and get to the pan. I didn't remove the front diff, just pulled the half shafts and left the diff off to the side resting on a bucket. I didn't disconnect the front driveshaft.

Yeah I did the oil pan and water pump and a bunch of other stuff last year. I have all the stuff too. The oil pump looks a little intimidating because of the timing chains.

I’m wondering if I need to do anything with the chain that drives the pump. Getting at the oil pump while time consuming isn’t that bad of a job. Do any of the timing chain covers need to come off?
