OP, why don't you check with Garry Romani of BMW of Newport to see if how much the oil is with the 25% discount he gives to forum members? Or if you are a BMWCCA member, your dealer should give you 10% off.

Here's a link to BMW's engine oil recommendations.

Other 10W-60 sources include Red Line and Pennzoil.

Do you guys know if the oil is good for a while(e.g. more than 5-6 years)? Have two quarts from my E46 M3 days in the garage.
