Sad!
Just another one gone! Seems to hold up quite good after this beating.
Is it that people don?t really understand the potential of the M5 ( turning off DSC, 500 hp etc ) and then gets surprised when it kicks back with all its power and fury?
Maybe some guys think it?s just another E60 with " some " more power? It actually doesn?t look like the brutal racer it sure is, when you use it?s full potential.
Even in MDM-mode it?s quite a handful in wet conditions, not speaking of DSC fully off.........

A little more than one year ago there was discussions about the EURO NCAP results for the E60/61.
After seeing this pictures I have no doubts that the E60/61 is a safe car! For me it seems like it was hell of a ride and the cabin is not so much destroyed.

It's the best way to tame the beast...but people should ask the question before they do it: M i able to play safe or to keep it on the road?
Sorry about the car...a brutal accident.

That aluminium front end just falls apart doesn't it - I looked at the way the headlights are fixed etc the other day and you can see why - it's all one big crumple zone.
Still at least all the airbags deployed and one of the wheels stayed on... looks like it must have rolled a few times.
Hopefully the occupants got out OK.
