I have a 530d 2004 auto and for the last month or so i have been getting the warning on the dash board in the morning abs problem, transmission error window error. If i switch on and off at first warning the problem goes away but if i am in traffic it becomes a gamble as i have tried and had no battery to restart however the hazards lights never fail.
I have had a new alternator fitted and it seemed to stop the fault for a week or two but it is back .I have had the battery tested and told it is fine. this seems to happen if the car is stood with out moving for 8-10 minutes.
I have read many other stories of these faults on this forum is the something else i am missing,my heating system is now making a groaning noise but i assume that this is due to the battery being drained
HELP i am losing my bmw mojo

New alternator + battery diagnosed as "good" ... if no other modules are failing it sounds like your car may need some BMW reprogramming to ensure the parts are communicating correctly ? ?
