I have a catch or "bump" when turning the steering wheel in either direction. I took it to the dealer and they said the steering colum will need to be replaced. They want $700 to do so. I am trying to avoid having the dealer fix this problem. I read on other posts that others have lubed the column to fix this problem. Does anyone have a DIY or photos of where to look so I can attempt to fix this problem myself?
Any advice or help is greatly appreciated! Thanks.

OP,
Welcome to the Forum. Unfortunately you are in the wrong section. Not only is this the M5 Discussion Forum, it is also not the DIY Forum. I'm sure a moderator on the Board will move this post for you. I would check the DIY Section or perform a search for this question. Good Luck!
