i have a question re the SB for the M5.

if you've had an ECU remap, and in that they also remapped the throttle response (this is the biggest notable difference in my opinion), would it still be benificial to add the SB? only since the remap, the response is electric, and has definitely taken away the lag that was there before when you initially floored it.
You animal Jay, is this ANOTHER power boost your after, I take it you wont cant stop that desire for that bit of extra speed mate eh

I want to clarify that the SB does not add power in any way. It only reduces the throttle lag but since the throttle reaction seems more instantaneous even during shifting, it certainly makes the car feels like it's stronger.

Correct, however, does it make your car faster from 0-60 by a millisecond or two? Possibly. The lack of throttle lag, due to the SB, probably helps you get from point A to point B quicker. Is the time negligible? Yes, but you still feel like you moved ahead a lot quicker. Regardless, it's worth every penny.

oh of course i understand this. i reviewed my remap on here as "remap is good, but the throttle remap they did is where you notice most of it".

to be honest, i find mine so quick in terms of response now, that i cant see how an SB could improve it still. that's why i asked the question initially.
