I never reinstalled my old Sprint Booster on my new car, so I can't tell you what the difference is. However, what I can tell you is that this new Sprint Booster is just crazy. There is no hesitation on the low end. And when I notch up the gear shift level to 5 or even 6 (that would be how quickly the shifts take place), when in M mode, the car is just fierce.

Andy is the best! I have ordered over 6 Sprint Boosters for friends in the last 3 months. He ships from Hong Kong. They have arrived at my home and my office, in Manhattan, in 2 days...EVERY time!
Shoot him an email and make sure you tell him you have the M5. If you want one for the 550, tell him you need the Automatic version. If the 550 is a manual, make sure you tell him that as well, so he knows to send you the manual version (There are 3 versions: M for M cars, Auto/Steptronic & Manual).

I should add one more thing... Andy is sold out of the M5 ones. I posted this on M5Board last week and a bunch of members jumped on it and ordered them last week. Shoot Andy a note and ask him how long. He'll give you the straight up answer.
