Andy Wong.
sale@PartsExporter.com
Andy is the best! I have ordered over 6 Sprint Boosters for friends in the last 3 months. He ships from Hong Kong. They have arrived at my home and my office, in Manhattan, in 2 days...EVERY time!
Shoot him an email and make sure you tell him you have the M5. If you want one for the 550, tell him you need the Automatic version. If the 550 is a manual, make sure you tell him that as well, so he knows to send you the manual version (There are 3 versions: M for M cars, Auto/Steptronic & Manual).

i have a question re the SB for the M5.
if you've had an ECU remap, and in that they also remapped the throttle response (this is the biggest notable difference in my opinion), would it still be benificial to add the SB? only since the remap, the response is electric, and has definitely taken away the lag that was there before when you initially floored it.

Eurocarfan, also a member on M5Board, mentioned this EXACT situation on a similar thread I started over there. He has both on his M5 and according to him, it makes a noticeable difference if you only have the remap and not the Sprint Booster. I'm having my ECU remapped next month, but I can tell you this... On my 2007 530 I had the ECU Remapped AND the Sprint Booster. When I removed the Sprint Booster after selling my car, I noticed a little lag. This was due to the removal of the SB, even though I had the remap. I was quite surprised. That being said, I highly suggest ordering this. You'll love it.

Yep, I have the RDSport software as well as the SB. Whenever I remove my SB (usually when I take my car in for service), I can feel a slight lag in the throttle even though the remap has increased the throttle response already.

I'll have one for sale at the meet on the 13th if anyone is ionterested. (automatic version non-m). Thinking $240.00 installed at Foothill???... Only used it for a few days. It is basically brand new and I think I might even have the box still.
PM me if interested...

Just got my M version today and swapped out my old one.
Took it for a short drive down the street and back and it does feel smoother. With the old SB, the throttle seemed a bit more twitchy, not sure if that's because I also have a remap or if that's just how it was and now they've improved it. It was a short drive though so the real test will be tomorrow when I'm on my commute. Will keep you all posted.
