I also tested my old ELM327 Bluetooth OBD2 reader with the Torque for Android and it works great!

Ok, Eric didn't order anything this week, fortunately, but this had arrived from Canada;
- TITAN Pad heater 500W

I need it to heat the oil pan before startups during these cold winter months. I know this is not the best possible solution, but it was cheap and quick to get!

I think I need to start installing all this stuff into this car too! Not only buying more and more all the time haha!

Giving a summer wheel setup a wash after this summer.

This was where I started...

...and this.

Pre-washing with Bilt-Hamber Autofoam.

Iconz 830ZRC.

Ending with this.

Got a new door sill to replace the decayed original one (the driver's side).

I also purchased this DEFA wiring set for the pad heater. I want the DC cable to be protected so I will use the armoured DEFA cable. Also, by using DEFA I can use the familiar DC plug connection in front bumper .

Protecting the summer wheels.

- GTechniq C5 Wheel Armour -

I think the previous layer of C5 was still doing quite well, because the dirt became loose so easily while washing.

Three wheels to go d'oh!

As usual, he was all over it! Or Actually the Dynamat Xtreme was all over him!

- "Eric, I think you're mentally ill..."

Someone suggested that I should cut off the little tag from Eric's butt. Sure! It's just that he won't let me touch him with anything sharp. He wanted to do it by himself, and oh lord what a show it was again!

- "Eric, let me cut it. It's not any worse than cutting nails. I'll be careful."
- "No! Get out of my way I'll handle it!"

- "AAAaaarrrgghhhhh!!!!"

- "MEDIC!!!"

- "Mmmhhhhh..."
- "C'mon that's enough already..."

That's a little overkill, I'd say....

Bavarian Soundwerks Stage I - Install Day 1

Here we go!

Broke only one clip !

Logic7 speaker.

Changeover with high fives!

Plug&play.

I think this dark door card will get some details at some point. But now let's rip it off!

The humidity cover is much more clever than in a 2004 Toyota Avensis for example.

"Mighty" OEM damping...

Dynamat Xtreme.

Removing the L7 speaker.

I put some remains of a cheap damping material behind the door card.

Then I glued the humidity cover back and almost forgot to change the tweeter!

Then the left front door followed. Not much to say...

I used a glueing/sealing mass to attach the humidity cover back.

These fellows were pretty quick to change.

Get away get away...

...BSW comes!

Zap!
