Because the car was dirty, I had to improvise a bit to get the rear covered. I didn't want to tape the paper on the filthy bottom .

Testing the Furniture Clinic products happened later than I had originally planned, but I guess it's better late than never, right .

So, the name of the game today was cleaning the interior and protecting the leathers with the Leather Protection Cream.

Process:
1) Vacuuming the interior
- a regular vacuum cleaner

2) Removing the tax/emission/whatever sticker from the windscreen (the car has been imported from Germany)
- AutoGlym Intensive Tar Remover
- Acetone
- heat gun
- nails!

3) Washing the leathers
- LeChat marseille soap (the best true leather cleaner on the market!)

4) Cleaning the dash and other parts
- AutoGlym Interior Shampoo

5) Protecting the leathers
- Furniture Clinic Leather Care

Seats didn't look that dirty, but the LeChat soap made its thing and the rinsing water became pretty dark after all.
The initial feelings about the Furniture Clinic Leather Protection Cream are great; smells nice, easy to apply evenly and leaves the leather very soft. However, I think it left the leather a bit shiny at first, but I'm sure it will matte down while it completely cures.

The basic black interior looks pretty darn good when clean. But I will cheer it up somehow in near future anyway .
The most painful job was to remove the sticker on the windscreen !

Pics:

Steering wheel area before cleaning.

Dash before.

Front passenger's seat before cleaning.

LeChat.

This very thick microfiber cloth did miracles in drying the leathers.

Washed, but not protected yet.

Rear right door before.

After.

Then it was a pleasant 1½h with the sticker.

Protecting the leathers.

Left rear door done.

Backseat done.

And all the rest pics are after pics as well.

Thanks .

The footrest pedal is OEM and it has been in car from the factory. However, you can get it from the dealer.
The throttle pedal and the brake pedal I ordered here: Foot MT Pedals M For BMW F10 E30 E36 E34 E38 E39 E46 E60 E61 E63 E83 E90 E92 | eBay

Yesterday I slightly modded the interior.

Lets say at first I really like the new F30 Sport Line interior. Well, because my interior is black leather/brushed aluminium, it asked only for a little red to imitate the new Sport Line.
The shifter cover I wrapped earlier in CF, didn't fit my car because it was shaped a bit differently(?). I guess it's a model year thing. Along that I abandoned using the CF in interior at all.

I don't know about you guys, but I really think the red refreshed the interior and made a sporty feel in it!

edit: The pics seem to lie a bit. The lines are not reflective and that bright in real life.

ps. Eric approved it.

I changed some lighting today (from yellow to white LEDs):
- Front & rear roof lights
- Left & right sun visor mirror lights
- Left & right footwell lights
- Front left & right door lights (I still need to get 2 more LEDs for rear doors)
- Glove box light
- One of the two trunk lights (Need another on here too)
- 3W Angel eyes

The LEDs came from my previous car.

Yup. The hood wasn't closed properly .
