Hey all looking for some help here. Just had new 4 new tyres fitted and now my cruise control does not work over 60mph.

My tyres would seem to be different size than the origonals. Front 255/40/19 and rear 295/30/19. But I have replaced EXACTLY same sizes. Just triple checked now before posting this. I was on contis before but switched to PS2s after everyone here has said they were better. I guess the previous owner switched sizes, but I replaced exactly as the size before and cruise control worked fine untill these new ones went one!

So to clarify, the tyres are same size as the ones removed and the speed limiter IS off. I have reset the tyre pressure monitor.

Can anyone help?! Recomennd what has changed what I can do to remedy.

Thanks in advance!

As i said to you on PM bud, head over to Bournemouth, and we'll swap wheels and see if that helps you out. I've also just had 4 PS2's fitted, but in the "correct" sizes...

Let me know when you want to do this. You have my contact details in the last PM bud.

Problem solved thanks to Jon!

Cheers for your time today bud, much apreciated! The problem was indeed the rear tyres. Still NO idea why it happened after the tyre change, but with Jons wheels on my car the CC worked fine.

Pictures of the event!

No worries mate! Was nice to meet you and your "better" half!! Lol!! Love the pics!! Haha!!

Chris, i much prefer the PS2's. Better grip, but in my experience the PS2's don't last as long as the Conti's.

Yeah the PS2s are WAY better, MUCH more grip, so much better than the contis. My advice would be make sure you get the RIGHT sized ones on! Unless you don;t do long motorway drives, in that case I could do you a cracking deal on some 295/30's
