That's exactly why I'm not taking the M out until the road are fixed. They are at their worst ever. I've been driving the X around with the 18's and thank god I am...I have hit some really bad ones on the LIE, Northern State, Jericho and just about every other road. Unless you have to drive around with the M, I would suggest keeping it inside until the roads are fixed. If you have to use it, I'd recommend dealing with the ugly looks of the 166's and mounting those.

Blah Blah Blah. Everybody stop the whining. We live in NY, not AZ. We are all well aware of the risks associated with driving in our area with low profile wheels and tires. I have certainly had my fair share of issues over the years. Doesnt stop me from continually buying low profile rims and tires for every car I've ever owned. Its part of living here. Check out this website. Ive used it. You should too. This will help you act on your issue instead of just complaining about it on the internet. Fix your road

agreed, but its just not fair that I have to burn over 1000 dollars in repair cause of the absolutely terrible road maintenance, and btw each town's website has its own pothole/road hazard reporting system. why would i report it to some pothole facebook?

i had my e39 m5 both front and rear rims bent and tires slashed off in queens close to JFK. I had filed it w/ the city for my bill that i paid 1150 dollars for. They made me wait for 8 months cuz i kept buggin them and calling them everyday and told em that i was a university student and every penny counted for me. They finally after 8 months sent me a check for $85 exactly. I thought there was a mistake or sumthing, called back and found out that the guy who kept tellin me that i will be taken care of (some city supervisor who was handling my case) told me that the city agreed to pay only that and that i was lucky that i even got it.. i was so outraged man. He further told me that i have a right to take city to the court. I told him to F**k Himself and hung up... End of the Story.. Moral... DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME.."

$85 isnt even worth the time and effort. I am sucking it up this time, well, every freakin time. They really need something to fill the potholes temporarily. They should hire people to drive around everyday looking for potholes to fill. Maybe they have those people but those potheads dont fill the potholes.
