I know some people are going to hate me for this but the manual in the M5 was an afterthought and was poorly executed. The SMG transmission is wickedly awesome once you get figure out how to drive it and what to expect and it was designed with the S85 in mind. Nothing beats a wide open throttle shift with the SMG... It was magical. I miss it. I just don't miss the $6000 pump repair bill.
