Do you have the owner's manual? It has a wealth of info.

But the short answer is, go into iDrive to set your M button. Max bat-out-of-hell setting would be DSC Off, P500S, S6 (fastest shift). If you have adaptive seats then you can also set sensitivity level here as well. Once you've done your selections, all you have to do when you want to go nuts is hit the M button on your steering wheel. Just be careful with the power on tap, especially since DSC is off.

BTW, C6 Z06s are still faster than this car.

Absolutely. Z06 has more horsepower and weighs only 3180 pounds. M5 even with tune and bolt on mods can't compete with the Z06's power to weight ratio. But these cars are nothing alike anyway.

Agree. I couldn't put my 2 cars seats in the back of the Z06.

And the Vette's interior looks staight out of an econobox.

Thanks for the info, I know the Z06 is faster, I had an older model 2004 (still crazy fast with a pro charger) - but needed a car with room - so the M5 looked perfect. I meant beat up on my friends stock vette not a new Z06

Def need the tunes, but not the headers. Headers are a waste of money, since I lease and my lease is now almost up. However, I will waste my money on these tunes, even with the short life I have left on this car.

A stock Vette with 436 bhp and a M5 should be a closer battle.

I wouldn't say 28rwhp gain from RPI's headers a waste of money. It's the biggest power producing mod....but yea, in your case with the leased car, it doesn't make sense.

Do it anyway. haha
