My Ride: '06 M5 Silver/Grey BLK, HUD, SMG, fully Loaded...RPI Scoops Red, Block Off Plates, BMC Filters. Hyper Silver Painted Wheels, RPI Full GTS Exhaust
Hi All,
I just picked up a CPO low miles 06 M5 Silver/Grey, really love the car - always wanted one. It has the SMG tranny, I was wondering I hear of RPI exhaust - would I need to tune the car if I purchase the set with cats? Also anyone heard of OneAndOnly exhaust? I look forward to chatting....

A number of members have the RPI full race exhaust and also have tunes. The sound is unbelievable. I am sure that the many members with this setup, such as C's Bimmer here in the NY area, dbae in So Cal, eurocarfan in the Bay Area and providenceleaf in Rhode Island can answer your question.
Here is a link to a thread where member providenceleaf drives his M5 with full RPI race exhaust through a tunnel in Boston: https://5series.net/forums/topic/979...&#entry1163833
If that sound alone doesn't sell you on the full RPI race exhaust, nothing will.

Thanks all this is the place to be!!, I purchased the car at Ralley BMW in New York with less than 25k miles. Plan on adding cold air kit and full exhaust and looks like RPi is the way to go. Ill post some pics late in the week..
