Sorry for a late reply but I like the Goodyear F1 Asymmetrics. They are available in the 19 staggered sizes and have worked very well for me. Although they may only save $20-$30 per tire over the PS2s.
BMW Dealer did it.
Next time i can change as ill need to replace the fronts and the backs at once.

Have you guys used Michelin pilot sport A/S ? I live in NY and since I use this car a daily driver
without sacrificing too much performance what do you think? I dont want to get dedicated tires as
it's too much of a hassle...

Great tires..do get a tad noisy when down to the wear bars...Just took em off my car for a set of dedicated summer tires (Breyton Race GTS's with Potenza RE760's) since I also have a aset of 17" winter wheels. Great in the few inches of snow we got here in the md-Atlantic last year. Good performers in wet and dry as well. Very pleased with them overall.

That is the problem with 19s. Poor selection in that size, and prices are extremely high. Stick with 18s for better pricing and choice.
Even 20's are cheaper, in most cases. Kind of crazy, no?

Si, senor.
Vendors make tons of 16s, 17s, 18s, 20s, etc. Not that many 19s. There lies the problem.

doubt he had a choice in the matter, he probably has his OEM 19" wheels...down sizing to 18" wheels on an m5 would be blasphemous
He would not notice the difference, as he can't even spell blasphemous. In fact, he probably thinks it is a furnace for molding the M5 engine block. LOL

My Ride: 06 M5 Indy Red w/K&N Typhoon & Resonator mod , 03 525i Space Grey
I've been running the Falken FK 452 for the last 8 months. I got 'em (installed) for about 1475 for all four @ discount tire in Las Vegas. They're predictable in a slide, they didn't explode any time I hit the speed limiter around 165mph (indicated) and most likely the least expensive, medium compound tire out there. I'd say, if you like roasting corners frequently, they'd be the best choice... Though the ride seems to suffer a little. I'm not quite sure how to explain it other than the car just doesn't seem to be "as planted" as it was with the PS2's. They are however, a bargain.
