The pull from 120 km/h up to the speedlimiter, is just breathtaking

The car hits the limiter in 6th, with more revs to go.

It doesn?t matter if it?s downhill, flat or steep uphill - you are hitting the limiter in notime

I started to sweat and my heart started beating very fast. God I want my M6

Have you considered having the limiter raised? Apparently my car is now good for 170mph - it's just a shame our roads here are not! It really would be a shame to have a diesel catch you up after you'd left it for dead

Awesome car - very belated congratulations from me. Saw my first close up in a dealers yesterday - very very tempting!

Sadly, there are no delimiting devices out yet!

It?s very frustrating with all these diesels, catching up on you all the time you brake due to traffic. <_<

Ahhh... but the joy when you leave them behind again when the traffic clears!

I'm sure they enjoy it too - if only for the noise!

Instead you have the M Mobility system. You can order a spare if you like - then you get a front wheel ( 255/40-19 ) that takes up almost all trunk space

What M Mobility system means? Are RunFlats available on M5? If yes, what about winter tyres as I think the biggest available winter RFT are 17"s?

No run flats available for M5.

M Mobility system = small air kompressor and sealant to " repair " the tyre, so you can get to the nearest tyre shop and buy a new tyre!

Cidair,

Despite having read what you've written about how great the car is, I couldn't imagine what a fantastic car the m5 really is. The car is beyond words - it made me laugh outloud of sheer joy.

Congratulations!!!

Thanks!

Every morning I wake up, I have to dash down to my garage and look if it?s really true - that I own a M5

The car is so enjoyable to drive that you never want to stop driving.

Still haven?t checked out all setting, closing in on 10000 km

Yes it is true! We have here 7 girls for 1 man!! But since some men are gays today we could consider 10 for 1.

But I really think that ride a M5 is much better!!
