Dinan has this package rated at about 420RWHP or 545HP at the crank, with 400 lbs. of torque, I think. But the one dominating factor in this is the differential in the Dinan car, this alters his gearing for optimum acceleration and increases his torque to the wheels by 18%!!

The package costs about $15000.00 plus installation. So comparing that to the cost of RPI mods, not too bad.
The Dinan differential has an 8% multiplication factor for the torque to the wheels, not 18%.

Hey Eddie, did Amedali have the Dinan middle exhaust? Probably not as I didn't see you list it in the first post.

Also, with the Dinan differential, did his car lose out in the top end. Not sure how fast you guys went to but just curious. And if money was no object, do you think the diff would be worth it?

He says that he did not have it, but I really do not know. I assume he does, because his exhaust sounds a bit louder than other Dinan exhaust I have heard.

The differential does make him sacrifice some top speed. We were only able to run to the 130's, so I cannot verify at what point. Without considering the money factor, I still do not feel the diff would be worth it. You can get more power, from other bolt ons, and still maintain your top speed. I strongly feel that with the ECU tune, I would have beaten him both times. If you look at the videos, I jump him with horsepower in both runs at the beginning, so he has to play catch up. But with his shorter gearing, he is in the power band much sooner, and therefore gains more ground.

It is like chainging the sprocket on a motorcycle. If you put a 47 tooth sprocket on a 600cc bike (110hp), you can pretty much keep pace with a 1000cc (170hp) bike without a problem, that is until you hit 140, then the 600 tops out. Whereas, if both bikes had stock sprockets, then it would be no contest, the 1000cc bike would win by miles.

These are just my .02

With The RPI software, I would be able to beat him. We will do it again, but a bit more planned. On the highway, in third gear roll ons. Here is another video of Rab Dog with stage 2 RPI taking him without a problem.

For clarification in that video, RabDog still have AA exhaust, ess tuned, scoop, pulley, and stock headers (dyno'd 418-42x rwhp). Aedali car also have some addtional goodies after that run in the video.

Mpower82-415 rwhp,Rabdog-418 rwhp,Amedali-420rwhp!
Rabdog pulled on him pretty good few months ago with 418 rwhp.
Mpower should have kept up with the Dinan.
Bottom line Amedali's got to be putting out more than 420 rwhp
