MEXICO RUN: Dinan S-2 M5 vs RPI stage 1 M5
#1
Had some time to try an S-2 Dinan M5 (white) yesterday. I knew I was a heavy underdog, but it was mostly for fun. The differential makes a huge difference in second gear. If you look closely, we have completely different shift points.
RPI stage 1= scoops/ block off plates/ pulley/ GT section 1,2, and 3
Dinan S-2 = software/ free flow exhaust/ air intake/ under drive pulley/ throttle bodies/ differential/ stage 2 suspension.
enjoy.

what if you get a software upgrade, is it going to be close? or are you going to be able to beat him?

Thanks Eddie! How much power is Dinan S putting out?
The package costs about $15000.00 plus installation. So comparing that to the cost of RPI mods, not too bad.

With The RPI software, I would be able to beat him. We will do it again, but a bit more planned. On the highway, in third gear roll ons. Here is another video of Rab Dog with stage 2 RPI taking him without a problem.

Dinan has this package rated at about 420RWHP or 545HP at the crank, with 400 lbs. of torque, I think. But the one dominating factor in this is the differential in the Dinan car, this alters his gearing for optimum acceleration and increases his torque to the wheels by 18%!!

IMO with the ECU tune you should be making more HP then the Dinan S
