I changed my mind when I had like 80 miles left on the OEM warranty and bought the Easy Care Total Care package for additional 3yrs/36K miles. Paid around $3200 for it. Glad I did cause I had a High Battery Drain issue soon after that took the dealer close to 40 days to fix and they replaced a bunch of things. Also had a passenger airbag malfunction that was fixed under warranty too. It could be that my dealer is mod-friendly so they didn't give me any grief even though they know everything I've done with my car.

BTW, I think it's also beneficial to get an extended warranty that your local dealer has a relationship with. That way, that insurance company won't ask too many questions on the claims and the entire process would be easier.
I agree. They also replace 2 tires a year too for road hazzard. I had 2 PS2's replaced at the same time beofre. It was a hefty replacement pretty much free of charge.
