Hi,
On M5 shift knob, does the LED light on with R, N and D/S only? When in D/S mode, does it light up up arrow, down arrow, round dot between arrow, and D/S arrow individually or altogether like the one in the pic?

Thanks in advanced.

Try a search in the bmw-treff.de Subforum "M".

There were a guy who adapted the shifter to a non M-model.

There?re pics of inside.

Or ask Kigerka or Hobi.

Hobi did the conversion on Kigerkas car.

I got the wiring harness for mine from Hobi and it illuminates everything at once (see picture). Hobi was planning on making another version that would also illuminate the actual selected position (R, N, D) like the M5's does, but I think he has not had time to do that yet. Sorry for the bad picture quality.
